Art Clay Society

The Art Clay Society is an organization formed of metal clay artists and enthusiasts, dedicated to the continuing education and inspiration of our members. Our members uphold the highest standards in metal clay techniques, sharing their expertise with other members of the metal clay community and with artisans from all walks of creativity. The Art Clay Society recognizes the versatility and potential of metal clay as a medium, as well as its possible partnerships with other artistic media, such as ceramics, polymer clay, and beadwork.

Art Clay Society is open and available for any artist who enjoys creating, wearing, handling, playing with, learning about, or teaching metal clay. We are here to celebrate our unique medium and promote the intricacies and wonder of metal clay to the rest of the world.

As a unit, the Art Clay Society is also here to support its members in their creative endeavors. We are an educational and technical resource for metal clay artists, providing instruction and resources to our members and to the metal clay community at large. We publish our own newsletter, the Art Clay Society Quarterly, as a means of recognizing our members talent and expertise, and as a way of sharing our knowledge with others through articles, project ideas, and our gallery. We maintain this website for the same reasons, with the hopes of reaching an even broader inventive audience. Our online gallery, forum, product and project sheets, and our promotions and special offers are here to assist metal clay aficionados along their innovative paths.
